OMG. That’s Paleo? by Juli Bauer
Juli Bauer, the blogger behind PaleOMG.com, is releasing her first cookbook, titled “OMG. That’s Paleo?” The full-color, soft-cover book features 100 recipes, 30 of which have never been seen before on her blog. The other 70 recipes are her most popular ones, and some include notes on how readers have modified them. Each recipe includes a photo. In true Juli-style, the recipes are paired with funny side stories and pictures, as well as other cooking tips and advice on following a Paleo diet. Recipes are broken into sections, including Poultry, Beef, Pork, Fish/Seafood, Slow Cooker, Baked Goods, Sweet and Savory Breakfasts, Snacks, and Desserts.
Jesse Tieter, M.D. has carefully constructed the ideal life. But lately, neither his Chicago-based neurology practice nor his wife and son are enough to suppress the memories that have haunted him since he was a little boy. He can’t stop thinking about that summer day in 1967 when his father died. So Jesse is heading back. Back to the town and the place where a long-repressed horror occurred. Back to make sure his twin keeps the family’s secret buried. But what will he uncover along the way?

Unreliable: A Novel of Suspense by Molleen Zwiker
Then I said, “Okay, but what do I do with the body?”
That old family joke. Said hundreds of times by one or another of us. Just a flippant, smart-assed remark. A quick comeback. Clever. Witty. Off-handed. Predictable and therefore comfortable. Comforting. The signal of the end of a rant. “God, I could’ve just killed her.”
Or him, as the case may be.
Or him.
Then the comeback, perfectly timed. Two beats, and the other would say, “But what would you do with the body?”
Only this time, no one laughed.
Easter Ann Peters’ Operation Cool by Jody Lamb
“This year’s going to be a good one. The kind that I need.”
Twelve-year-old Easter Ann Peters has a plan to make seventh grade awesome: Operation Cool. She’s determined to erase years of being known as the quiet, straight-A student who can’t think of a decent comeback to a bully she calls Horse Girl. When the confident new girl, Wreni, becomes her long-needed best friend, Easter lets her personality shine. The coolest guy in school takes a sudden interest.
But as tough times at school fade away, so does a happy life at home. Mom is drinking, and Easter works double-overtime to keep their secret in the tiny lakeside town.
Operation Cool derails. Fast. Can Easter discover the solution in time? Or will seventh grade be her worst year yet?
